AT & T, Florida PSC demand prices after the failure of negotiations
The observation that “the increase in local competition there is in other countries, but the prospect is dead on arrival in Florida,” AT & T today presented a petition to the Florida Public Service Commission (PSC) today announced the “jump - start” local phone competition.
The petition asks the PSC immediately where the competitive Grand Prix of leasing for competitors to use parts of Bell South’s local telephone network. The PSC, 13-August deadline for competitors to negotiate new prices established with Bell South past without reaching an agreement.
“We need regulatory measures,” said Claudia Davant, AT & T-President, Legislative and Regulatory Affairs - Florida. “Without intervention PSK, BellSouth up fat and rely simply pleased to its monopoly, and I hope that the PSC approves its application remotely.
