Costas said he began at the national level, taking into account, after three weeks, after the Republican Attorney General Steve Carter announced that he would make a third term to desist.
“I have more than six days of the soul to do research to determine whether or not this is something I could do logistically. I would like to ensure that there is no negative impact on my family, especially on the city, either, “Said Costas.” I came to the conclusion that I have for the appointment , and I am tempted during this period, the support needed in order to obtain the appointment of (state GOP), the Convention in June. ”
Four other prominent Republican lawyers have expressed interest in the appointment. But one of them, Secretary of State Todd Rokita in Indianapolis, Tuesday, said that it would be to step aside Costas
“I support his candidacy 100%, not just for the powerful, but it is bound to another corner of the State House, but it (because), allow me to continue my current service as as secretary of state and spend more time with our newborns this year, “Rokita, a native of Munster, said in a statement.
Costas, democracy has no opponent on the way to a second term in the majors last year, could contribute to the regional balance of November GOP ticket. It is the forefront of Republican Gov. Mitch Daniels, who has no primary opponent.

And Greater Clark County Schools Superintendent Tony Bennett, another Republican from southern Indiana, which the State Superintendent of Public Education. Public schools currently Republican Superintendent Suellen Reed, said she rejects against another term.
The Republican Party, Indianapolis is the slate of candidates for the three offices at its 2nd Convention June, but Daniels is to be expected that a large say, which is underway.
“The master of the country is aware that I have for the appointment, and it seems very positive about my candidacy,” said Costa. “We have an excellent relationship. And I think that, if we consider the nature of the visit he paid to the state, in a very real sense, we have provided this kind of conduct, in a sort of microcosm in the city of Valparaiso Para.
Costas, now a part-time lawyer for the former offices of Valparaiso Burke & Cuppy Costanza, said he would do if, as mayor, he assured the nomination of his party. Local Republican officials would court a new mayor in the case Costas ultimately was elected Attorney General in November.
Greg Zöller, Deputy Chief of Carter’s, has also expressed interest in the GOP nomination for the general power, in collaboration with Kyle Hupfer, a former director of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, and Tom Wheeler, the president of the Commission Electoral Indiana.
